Antico contratto d'affitto per una privata abitazione, stipulato nell'Inghilterra della prima metà del Settecento fra Philip Chapman ed Edwin Wron, entrata nella disponibilità del locatore per via testamentaria. Il contratto descrive nel dettaglio le condizioni di affitto e le servitù che vi gravano dal passato:
“…Between Philip Chapman of the parish of Lambourne in the country of Essex and Edwin Wron...Testament of Thomas Walker late of the parish of Lambourne...Except and reserving into the lessors the free passage of water and soil through the said premises thereby demised from all contiguous grounds…”.
Un interessante documento, in grande formato e molto curato nella grafia, estremamente calligrafica e di bell'impatto, che offre una testimonianza degli antichi contratti di compravendita e di storia del territorio inglese.
